Nigerian music producer Masterkraft drops a new instrumental record titled “Hi-Life.” He has been consistently involved in the modern day African music industry. “Hi-Life” seamlessly blends the Western and African music while giving off a very West African sound, taken from the traditional Highlife sound.
The drum patterns, melodies and sounds have a very ancient feel to it but can be associated with contemporary music; the production is based on melody, groove and drums instrumentals thus making it a very instrument-oriented production.
Masterkraft – “Hi-Life” is a zero-tuned album that takes us back to the interesting world of Highlife.
