The Nigerian producer Masterkraft and Ramoni, from the Afropop Love Diary album, Party Starter (PS2), touches upon the past to forge a new partnership with “Iwonikan”.
This is, however, the first such regard, as Masterkraft & Ramoni hit the same window back in 2023 on the Stormatique single “Gbona”, with Tiphhyz.
They come together here also on an album rooted in pre-established musical chemistry (a theme of the album). And released on a public outlet, it carries the Afrobeats signature that has been a part of the project from the earlier context.
Also, the song runs for over four minutes, providing room for Ramoni & Masterkraft to give an apt performance while not prioritizing it over all.
