Nigerian reality star, Tacha Akide, has reportedly been arrested by the Nigerian Police after she allegedly declined three invitations issued by the police.
This development is believed to be connected to the allegations made in March by the reality star against a man on social media. She had shared a video accusing the man of r@pe, and the reports claimed her allegations denied the man many job opportunities and prospective jobs abroad.
Following the allegations, reports claimed the police had sought evidence to back her allegations. Her arrest is believed to be connected to the allegations she made against the man online.
This was disclosed by media person, Seun Oloketuyi, who stated that Tacha was arrested on Sunday morning, the 30th of August 2026, at her house in Ajah.
In his words, “Tacha, however, failed to respond when NPF-NCC (Nigeria Police Force – National Cybercrimes Centre) extended three invitations to her before she was finally arrested at her residence.” He stated:
“Just in, Tacha has been arrested today by the NPF. Arrested early this morning after she was sent 3 invitations between May and August by the NPF-NCC, but she decided not to honour the IV. She was picked up at her Ajah residence early this morning.”
The arrest of the reality star has raised attention online as Nigerians await further details from the Police.
